5th & 6th Class Basketball Champions!

Both fifth and sixth class boys and girls SMGS basketball teams thoroughly enjoyed getting to take part in a Primary Schools Basketball Ireland 3v3 tournament along with five other schools this month. As well as playing to the best of their ability on the court, they got an opportunity to referee some games, manage the scoreboard and be a time keeper and what a wonderful job they did!
They were thrilled with themselves after winning all six matches they played! There was an infectious team spirit, great determination and enjoyment shown by all of the players. They did themselves, and our school, very proud and we look forward to the upcoming games!
