Balloon Art!

Recently, we were very busy in class working with Papier Máché. This involved us working in pairs or small groups to efficiently tear newspaper sheets into strips and then into pieces that were an appropriate size. We then had to apply wallpaper paste to the paper pieces to create layers all the way around the balloons – a messy business! The balloons dried quickly on the window sills in the hot and sunny weather – but unfortunately some popped! Perhaps it was too hot!
