CHAMPIONS! Inchicore Schools Cup

On Wednesday May 28th both the girls and boys soccer team played in the Inchicore Schools Cup finals. In what was a fantastic exhibition of football from all the schools involved both teams were victorious.

The girls team overcame a determined Bluebell/St. Cillian’s team 3-1 with Madison Mc (2) and Ouluchi getting the goals. Both of Madison’s goals would be worthy Puskas nomnations. All the team worked tirelessly throughout the game.

The boys team won out in what can only be described as an epic encounter. Having trailed in the game not once, not twice but three times, they were eventually too strong for a phenomenal Inchicore National School winning the game 5-4. Henley and Xander both got a brace with Luka scoring waht proved to be the decisive goal.

Congratulations to both teams and thanks to all for representing your school with such pride, passion and determination.
