Croke Park Returns to Tyrconnell Road

Some of you may be aware that an All Ireland Final was played near to the school in 1889 – in fact there is a plaque to commemorate it just outside the Infant Door.

Just today we installed two new ‘Buddy Seats’ on the ramp access, under this sign, for the infant classes. They have been kindly donated to the school by the Nugent family – who purchased these seats from the renovation works on the Cusack Stand in Croke Park.

We think they make a wonderful addition to the school and are proud to further our links with Páirc an Chrócaigh. A huge thank you to Colin & Linda for this very generous gift.
