Grandparents Day 2025

What a lovely treat inviting our grandparents into our classroom. We started by remembering the Grandparents who couldn’t be with us on the day and lit a candle to let them know we were thinking of them. Next, the children and grandparents designed a photo frame together. We took lots of pictures to print for these amazing creations so the children will have a little keepsake of this special day. Following this, we interviewed our grandparents about life when they were younger. In January, we have been working on poetry as our writing genre. We had prepared acrostic poems for our Grandparents and gave them these gifts on the day. Needless to say, they were thrilled to have such lovely compliments written about them. What a special day it was!
