Lifecycle of a butterfly

In April we received five tiny caterpillars into our classroom. In the weeks following we watched Carl, Rose, Tom, Salah and Cucumber eat and grow. Once they turned into chrysalides we placed them into their new habitat. We protected them until they were fully formed into butterflies and then we set them free. It was so exciting to watch the lifecycle of the butterflies in our classroom!
