Maths Week in Room 5

Room 5 have been celebrating Maths Week with lots of fun, hands-on activities! The children used their maths brains to explore different shapes and colours while creating bright and imaginative 2D shape monsters. They also took part in a Maths Trail around the school, discovering how maths is all around us — counting features of the school, spotting shapes in the yard and solving tricky maths problems about the school grounds. The children showed great teamwork and creativity, proving that using our maths brains can be fun and exciting, and that maths is all around us every day!
