The Great Famine of Ireland Performance

We had great fun in Room 8 recreating the Great Famine of Ireland for our assembly this month. We combined Drama, Art, Music (Singing and Performing), PE (dance and gymnastics) and Literacy (Narrative and Poetry) to deliver our story to the parents, teachers and students of Scoil Mhuire Gan Smál. We learned so much about the Great Famine of Ireland and really enjoyed our performance!
