Take at look at some snaps from fifth classes most recent trip to Collin’s Barracks. There was so much to learn about from the moment we stepped foot onto grounds. It was fantastic that children were making connections from their previous trips to Dublin Castle and Glasnevin Cemetery with many public historic figures such as Michael Collins (who Collin’s Barracks is named after),Constance Markievicz, Margaret Skinnider and Kathleen Lynn. There was such a huge amount of artifacts that our amazing tour guide spoke to us about but overall our favourite part was the role play at the end. Take a look at us in action!
