World Book Day Launch at SMGS

We were delighted to be a part of the launch of World Book Day Ireland 2025 here at Scoil Mhuire Gan Smal. Our students were excited to meet some very special guests, including this year’s World Book Day authors and illustrators:

* Andrew Whitson illustrator of Ag Buzzáil sa Ghairdín and MD of An tSnáthaid Mhór publisher

* Paddy Donnelly author and illustrator of Fox & Son Tailers

* Elaina Ryan, CEO of Children’s Books Ireland

* Ivan O’Brien, Managing Director of The O’Brien Press

* Seán Ó Coinn, CEO, Foras na Gaeilge

World Book Day Ireland is delivered by An Post in partnership with Children’s Books Ireland. Irish-language book and resources are supported by Foras na Gaeilge and accessible copies are provided by Vision Ireland.
