European Vice President Visit

Scoil Mhuire Gan Smál had the immense honour of hosting a high-profile visit from Roxana Mînzatu, Executive Vice President of the European Commission (Commissioner for Education, Skills, Social Rights and Preparedness).

During her visit, EVP Mînzatu spent time experiencing life in our school:

• Ms. Martin’s 1st Class gave a beautiful welcome song as Gaeilge.
• Mr. Dwyer’s 1st Class showcased an engaging numeracy lesson.
• Ms. Murphy’s 2nd Class demonstrated excellence in literacy learning.
• Mr. Moynihan’s 6th Class led an insightful discussion on AI, online interactions, and digital safety.

Our pupils represented the school, their families, and our community with great confidence, warmth, and enthusiasm.

We could not be prouder of how every single child shone throughout the afternoon.
