Our 3rd to 6th class boys and girls proudly represented the school at the Cross Country event held in Eamonn Ceannt Park, Crumlin, on Wednesday, 13th May. Despite the difficult weather conditions, all of our pupils showed incredible determination, resilience, and team spirit throughout the day.
The 3rd and 4th class pupils completed an impressive 600 metre race, while the 5th and 6th class runners took on the challenging 1.1 km course. Every participant gave their very best effort and showed fantastic perseverance from start to finish.
We were delighted to bring home several trophies and medals, including a first-place finish in one of the races — a wonderful achievement for our school! However, what made us most proud was the attitude and determination shown by every single runner. Whether finishing at the front of the pack or digging deep to cross the line, each child displayed excellent sportsmanship and never gave up.
A huge well done to all of our athletes for representing the school so brilliantly. You should all be very proud of yourselves!
