In November 2020 SMGS achieved our 9th Gold Award for STEM excellence.
This is awarded to schools to recognise excellence in the areas of science, engineering, technology and maths in all classes, from Junior Infants to 6th.
Not only that, we also achieved the pilot scheme ‘Badge of Excellence’ – one of only 30 schools in Ireland.
A huge well done to all teachers, parents and pupils.
