Soccer Season 2026

The SMGS soccer season kicked off in fantastic style this morning, with an incredible 43 pupils turning up bright and early at 8am. Bathed in glorious morning sunshine, the energy and enthusiasm on display set the perfect tone for what promises to be an exciting season ahead.

It was brilliant to see such a strong turnout, with pupils eager to get involved, sharpen their skills, and represent the school. The commitment shown by everyone, especially at such an early hour, was truly impressive.

There’s plenty to look forward to over the coming days, with the Garda 5-a-side tournament taking place tomorrow and continuing on Monday. Excitement is already building as teams prepare to compete and give it their all.

We are also eagerly anticipating the Inchicore School League 11-a-side matches, which will provide another great opportunity for our players to showcase their teamwork, determination, and love of the game.
